At Lewisham Seventh-day Adventist church our aim is to let people in our community know about the good news of Jesus.
Our Mission
At Lewisham Seventh-day Adventist Church, our mission is simple: to help people grow closer to Jesus and live lives filled with faith, purpose, and love.
We’re part of a global movement of churches sharing the good news that Jesus brings hope, healing, and a future we can look forward to. That same message shapes how we care for our community, support one another, and stay rooted in God’s Word.
Here in Lewisham, we’re building a church where people feel at home — where you can ask questions, find answers, and experience God for yourself.

Our History
Lewisham SDA Church has been a place of worship, community, and spiritual growth in South East London since the 1930s. Through changing times, one thing has remained: people continue to find hope, connection, and purpose here.

Our main worship service begins at 11:15 AM every Saturday. Before that, we have Bible study classes (called Sabbath School) starting at 10:00 AM for all ages.
When you visit, expect a warm welcome, uplifting music, and messages that speak to real life. Come as you are. No dress code, no pressure. Just community, worship, and space to grow. -
Not at all. Everyone is welcome. Whether you're curious, exploring faith, or just visiting. You don’t need to be a member to worship, ask questions, or feel at home here. This is a safe space to learn, connect, and encounter God at your own pace.

Yes! We have dedicated programs every Saturday morning designed especially for children, teens, and young adults. They’ll learn about faith in fun and age-appropriate ways, led by caring leaders. There are also youth events and activities throughout the year to help them grow, serve, and build friendships.
