Boxing Day Baptism Yields Three More For Jesus

December 26 is traditionally the day of the Christmas season when gifts in boxes were given to servants, employees or customers, hence the term 'Boxing Day'. Christmas is widely known as the 'season of giving' and recently three persons gave their lives to Christ and demonstrated it by being baptised at our church. The final service of the year is traditionally, for some persons, one where they reflect on what God has done for them during the year and pledge themselves to Christ anew. It is for this purpose that these new members didn't want the year to end without them being baptised. Here at Lewisham we're happy to welcome into fellowship at our church and wish them all the best as they continue to live for Jesus and also for the new year, 2016.God bless you all, and do enjoy the photos from the baptism service.[envira-gallery slug="baptism-december-26-2015"]
