Ending 2014 on a High Note

Last Sabbath, December 27 we had an amazing day at Lewisham Church. We started in the morning with our 'Homecoming Day' where in Sabbath School we welcomed many visitors and old friends that once worshipped with us for a morning of worship and fellowship. The theme was Going Home, and the whole of Sabbath School was geared toward putting our thoughts towards going home to heaven where Jesus has promised to prepare a place for us.The Divine Service stayed on the same theme and Pastor Otis Lewis preached on the topic 'We Are Going Home' http://media.lewishamadventist.org.uk/media/i2/115571263.htmlWe were blessed in the evening to have one final baptism before ending the year. It was perhaps an apt way for 8 of our friends to end the old year and start the new. Perhaps it was symbolic of ending the old life and starting a new one with Jesus! We are so happy that we were able to welcome them to the fellowship at Lewisham and wish them all the best for 2015 and all God's blessings.[envira-gallery id="670879"]
