Four more for the Lord

There was a spirit of thanksgiving and praise in the Church family as the warmth of the sun set outside and we prepared to welcome four precious souls into the fold of Jesus’s warm embrace. These brave candidates displayed true commitment as they showed willingness to give their life completely to Christ through baptism.First in the pool was Iglazmosia Dusk who is well known to our members as Kevin. Kevin had been having bible classes with our first Elder Belands Parchment and communications director Athea Bonner-Mckenzie recently and is now anxious to use his gifts and talents for our Lord Jesus Christ.Second in the pool were a father and daughter duo Eduardo Batista-De-Matos and Wiktoria (Victoria) from Brazil. They both entered the pool showing huge humility in their demeanour and together they have noble intentions of aiming to finish the work of the gospel. Our final candidate to enter the pool was a friendly church sister known as Emily who regularly attends our services and finally decided to give her life to Christ. She came armed with powerful testimonies and the desire to share them. There was definitely rejoicing in heaven on this special evening as we lifted our voices in praise and glorious celebration to thank the almighty Father, as Lewisham Seventh-day Adventist Church welcomed its newest members: Bro Iglazmosia Dusk, Bro Eduardo Batista-De-Matos, Sis Emily Stewart and Sis Wiktoria (Victoria) Celaulak- De-Matos
