Personal Ministries

Our mission is to help every individual church member to realize their full potential and become a minister for Jesus Christ. This means to help people find out what their spiritual gifts are and then to use these gifts to gain confidence and training so that they can spread the good news of Jesus - to Minister the great Gospel Commission (Matthew 28:19-20).

As the Bible in the book of Matthew 28:19-20 urges us all as Christians to,

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.".

'Our theme is building up and reaching out' this means that we also need to ensure that every member in our Church feels as if this is where they belong, that they are happy and have good strong friendships and feel loved and cared for. We want our church to be one big happy family, whatever background you are from, whatever ethnic group, we want you to feel as if you belong in our congregation. So if you have never been to our church before then we invite you along, come and join us and help to spread the good news that Jesus loves everyone, it is free and unconditional love.

This department is bestowed with the opportunity of seeing people adopt different styles of ministry, especially as each person has a unique style of their own as well as spiritual gifts or talents. For example, some people have the gift of evangelism (telling others that Jesus died to give them everlasting life).

Some people are good at caring for others and we encourage them to help out in the community services department, they may have the gifts of hospitality or helps, they bake cakes for the elderly, visit people who are poorly, provide food parcels and clothes for the homeless, or visit people in prison. Some people have musical gifts or have a talent for singing, others have a prayer ministry and there are many more spiritual gifts such as being a Preacher or a teacher
